Documentation workgroup
Here are some suggestion of what would be done in the documentation area. They are 2 approch that both are usefull :
describe each file and each parameter
- What re /etc/mail/ze-filter, /var/ze-filter and /var/jchkmail/cdb for
- explain the namming of all thoses files
- file extention
- file to be replaced by upgrade
- etc
- list all files and what they are supposed to contain
- foreach file list all the valid parameters, what they are for, syntax, possible values, semantics. When a parameter is removed from a ze-filter version add an indication in the documentation (deprecated from version X, replaced by …)
describe each anti-spam method
- list all anti-spam method in ze-filter
- make a links with the parameters that can change each method
- give a sample how to enable each method with a minimum configuration
Both approch are usefull but the first one is mandatory.
promote ze-filter
The actual site for ze-filter give a poor idea of ze-filter. It is needed to make a part of this site dedicated to promote this solution. The way it is to keep in mind that some may read it in order to decide if they will choose ze-filter or not. Example : performance should refer to spam elimination, not to the small size of the server needed !
